ဘဂၤလီအမ်ိဳးသား အသက္ ၂၈ႏွစ္ရွိ ဟာဖိအာမတ္သည္
တက္ကနက္ျမိဳ႕ နယ္အတြင္းရွိ နာယာပါရာ ျမန္မာဒုကၡသည္ စခန္းက ျဖစ္သည္ဟု ဆုိသည္။


တက္ကနက္ျမိဳ႕နယ္ အုပ္ခ်ဳပ္ေရးမွဴး နာဇိမ္အူဒိမ္း ဦးေဆာင္ျပီး မုဒိမ္းက်င့္ တရားခံအား ခံုသမာဓိအဖြဲ႔ ျဖင့္စီစဥ္ ေဆာင္ရြက္ခ်က္အရ ၄င္းအား ေထာင္ဒဏ္ ခ်မွတ္လုိက္ျခင္း ျဖစ္သည္ ဟု ေကာ့စ္ဘဇား သတင္းတပုဒ္တြင္ ေရးသားထား သည္။



ၾသဂုတ္လ ၁၉ရက္ေန႔ မနက္ပိုင္းတြင္ သူ႔၏မိခင္ အသက္ ၄၂ႏွစ္အရြယ္ရွိ တာဟာရာ ဘီဂင္း အိမ္ထဲ၌ ပစၥည္းမ်ား သန္႔ရွင္းေနစဥ္ မုဒိမ္းျပဳက်င့္ရန္ ၾကိဳးစားခဲ့ေၾကာင္း စစ္ေဆးသူမ်ားအား အာမတ္ကေျပာ ဆိုခဲ့သည္ဟု ဆိုသည္။


မုဒိမ္က်င့္ရန္ ၾကိဳးစားခ်ိန္၌ အေမျဖစ္သူက ဟန္႔တားခဲ့ေၾကာင္း၊ ေဘးပတ္၀န္းက်င္ လူမ်ားအားအကူ အညီေတာင္းခဲ့ေၾကာင္း၊ သက္ဆိုင္ရာ သိသြားသျဖင့္ တာ၀န္ရွိအဖြဲ႔တခုကို ေစလႊတ္ျပီး သူကိုဖမ္းဆီး ကာေထာင္ဒဏ္ တစ္ႏွစ္ ခ်မွတ္လိုက္ရေၾကာင္း ေကာ့စ္ဘဇား သတင္းတပုဒ္တြင္ ေရးသားထားသည္။

အဆိုပါ အခင္းျဖစ္ပြားမႈ ႏွင့္ပတ္သက္ျပီး ဒုကၡသည္ စခန္းေခါင္းေဆာင္ကလည္း မွန္ကန္ေၾကာင္း အတည္ျပဳ ေျပာဆိုသည္။


အဆိုပါ စခန္းအတြင္ ယခင္ကတခါမွ မျဖစ္ပြားဖူးခဲေၾကာင္း၊ မုဒိမ္းမုျဖစ္ ပြားခဲ့သည္မွာ တလလွ်င္အမႈ ၂၀ကေန ၃၀အထိရွိေသာ္လည္း သာမန္ရိုးရိုး ေယာက်္ားျဖစ္မႈတို႔၏ က်ဴးလြန္ေလ့ရွိသည့္ ျပစ္မႈသာ ရွိသည္ဟု ဆုိသည္။

ယခုလိုျဖစ္ပြား ျခင္းမွာ ဒုကၡသည္ စခန္းအတြင္း ပညာေရးအေပၚမွာ မႈတည္ေၾကာင္း ဒုကၡသည္ေခါင္း ေဆာင္တဦးက ေျပာဆိုခဲ့သည္။

Refugee Youth Jailed for Attempting to Rape Mother

A mobile court in Teknaf in southeastern Bangladesh has sentenced a refugee youth to one year in prison for attempting to rape his own mother.

The youth was identified as 28-year-old Hafez Ahmed, a refugee from Nayapara Rohingya Muslim refugee camp in Teknaf.

The accused was sentenced to imprisonment by the jury of the mobile court that was led by Narzim Uddin, Executive Officer of Teknaf Township Administration, last Friday, reported local news agency CBN.

Ahmed was said to have tried to rape his mother, 42-year-old Tahera Begum in the early morning in their family shed inside the camp. His mother fended him off by seeking help from the neighbors. They camp authority handed him over to local law enforcement and the mobile court tried and sentenced him to one year in prison.

A refugee community leader from the camp also confirmed the case and said that this kind of incident is very rare in the camp, although there have been cases of domestic violence and other kinds of sexual and gender-based violence.

"This kind of case was never heard of before in our camp, but at least 20 to 30 cases of domestic violence and other forms of sexual and gender-based violence are happening each month inside the camp. The rates of early marriage and divorce are also increasing. These are happening due to lack of a proper education system and poor living conditions inside the camp," said the community leader.
